Round 74 - Lazy to the max

Ello, it’s been forever… I’ve even started this blog at work a couple of times. I’ve been trying to get an update out about the beginning of the round. It has been quite interesting.
As said before, I make an absolutely horrible attacker. What sucks, is in this strategy game, if you get behind, you have no real chance of finishing the round at the top, also it becomes harder and harder to progress overall. Everybody in the game is constantly getting more and more defense and offense, so if your not on the top keeping up it’s quite hard to know what is a good amount of defense.

Anyway… the beginning of the round I tried the idea of, explore to 500 land and build all the rest defense and offense. I made two super critical mistakes… I chose to use elite units and some non-elites… and I should of just explored to 1k-1.5k land before going into attacker mode. Basically when I came out of protection I didn’t have jack shit for offense, so I bottem fed up to like 700 land or so.

Then I found a decent target and grabbed a nice hit. This was the result:

I forgot to copy who I hit… as the title portrays, I’ve been super lazy, and I’ve been super busy at work.

By the way… I’m Starcraft of 38 … favorite game ever. Hell, if you watch, our Realm name is revolving starcraft unit quotes / cheat codes :). My pack buddy and I are the only active ones in 38… so that really sucks… so we are KEEPIN IT REAL!

Later I made a couple clean hits. First hit on cabantian was GOOD…. but then drive of 25 had like NO defense so I sent out the remaining overlords I had… which I knew i was going to get counter-hit by anybody that grabbed ops on me, but it was too tempting…

So yea… and just recently, I made a clean hit on Ouch… which then I got hit by Life is Dead… with almost all my defense in… that makes me sad. I had like 90k NW, he had like 150k ++ NW and we were the same land size. My guess is he recently got hit by a bunch of people.

My realm mate got Life back though, he’s hit him twice for quite a bit of land, and he’s cleaning in 75% land size, so it’s all good in my book :).

First hit in about two weeks that I did not get hit by anybody else… so that’s cool I was just going to pump defense for awhile and get on straight…. but….

Yea… all defense in… :(. My guess based on the time I was attacked, is my Ares fell at 11 A.M. and the guys could hit me. Unfortently I slept in today, and theres no damn way I was getting up :). That’s the thing about online strategy games, in order to be on top you have to dedicate A LOT of time to the game… like all things :).

In summary: I know a lot about this game… but I don’t really know how to do well anymore :D. Most of what I remember is before we rulesets, heroes, tech points, shrines, etc. Most of what I remember is when we had dragons, and 300 ++ realms hehe. A lot of doing well has to do with having a strong pack. Originally, Chris and I (My only other pack mate), were suppose to be part of a 6 man pack… The beginning of my round started out pretty shitty, I think I missed the first two hours of the round because of my RL friend… which he bailed on playing, his friend bailed, my cousin bailed, and some 4th he had… BAILED. so FUCK my life. It’s been such a long time since I was an attacker, I’m kinda clueless on how I need to go about things. The way I picked my race was… basically random(1,17), and I ended up getting Kobold. So I’m playing an attacker as a Kobold… and as you can tell I suck.

It’s probably not the best idea to tell people my realm and name… but oh well I know I’m not going to do the best this round, espically at this point, so whatever :). Now that I finally got this huge long post out, I will try to update much more frequently and ya…
